Following the successful conclusion of the Introduction Process and a decision by the company to proceed with an implementation, we can support a company in this effort. Essentially our approach to consulting is quite similar to what one sees in a Home Depot ad: “You Can Do It; We Can Help.”
Our approach is based on the following factors:
- We provide education, guidance, and counsel on how to make the behavioral and process changes necessary for success. We believe that making transformational changes in how the business is run must be done by the people who run the business, not outsiders. Therefore, we do not “do it for you.”
- We believe that a small amount of first-rate consulting support can often make the difference between success and failure. We’re also convinced that a large amount of consulting , of whatever quality, has serious drawbacks for the client company. Costs are high and, far more important, success frequently does not result – because the company’s key people haven’t taken ownership of the new processes. Therefore, we do not do “live-in” consulting.
- All of us have been involved in a substantial number of successful implementations. We’ve been there; we know how to do it. Each of us has many years of consulting experience preceded by substantial time in industry. We have no “junior consultants.”
These factors result in the best of all worlds for the client company: a high probability of success coupled with consulting costs that are quite low when compared to the “live-in” approach.
